Editorial Assistant
We are looking for a bright, literate graduate to fill an Editorial Assistant vacancy within our B2B division.
Duties will include subbing, writing and administration across magazines and
e-newsletters, page layout (QuarkXpress), liaising with pr/industry contacts, and attending press events.
The successful candidate will need to be well organised, hard working and have a good eye for detail. The position would ideally suit someone looking for a first step into journalism.

Classified Sales Executive
The Classified Sales Executive will form an important part within the Sales team. The hours worked will be from 9am - 5.30pm and occasionally you maybe asked to stay away during exhibition times. This is a great opportunity for someone to take a first step into the world of Publishing.
The successful candidate will need to have good organisational skills, be well presented, confident, with a good telephone manner.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Ad Manager, this person will be in sole charge of their own section within the back of the magazine.
The position is mainly office based and the person will spend approximately 70% of their time contacting our existing database, building long term relations and selling across a broad range of classified sections, including trade literature panels, recruitment, training etc.
The person will also be responsible for the production of the pages; this includes collating all the copy sold throughout the month, laying out the pages for Repro, editing and proof reading material.
The person will be working to monthly targets and will receive a basic salary, on target earnings and an uncapped 10% commission on everything sold above.
